The President of Kenya William Ruto visited the National Space Center
As part of the state visit of the President of Kenya, William Ruto, to Kazakhstan, the National Space Center in Astana welcomed the distinguished guest on May 20, 2026.
The Kenyan delegation was received by Malik Olzhabekov, Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan
During the visit, President William Ruto was presented with an overview of the current state and future development of Kazakhstan’s space industry, including its key projects and scientific and technological potential. The Head of State was also introduced to the infrastructure and capabilities of the Spacecraft Assembly and Testing Complex (AIT Complex).
Following the visit, the parties discussed promising areas for the development of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kenya in the field of space technologies.
The visit of the President of Kenya to the National Space Center marked an important step toward advancing bilateral cooperation in the aerospace sector.
